Biography

Devin Peterson has a unique story that gives him an experrtise
in organizational leadership, ministry, and education. Growing up as a “Preacher’s Kid”, he was given the opportunity to see all three of these areas effectively put into practice. It was during his early teens that he felt that call of ministry and began to pursue this direction passionately. Serving in lay ministry areas, Devin was able to learn from the successes and failures of his own pastors and leaders. Through seasons of work, in places such as Starbucks Coffee Company, he learned first hand the importance of quality production and intentional customer service. As Devin stepped into his first position as a Children’s pastor, at Oasis Church in Garland, Texas, he quickly learned the ends and outs of personal management and spiritual development. In between jobs, Devin worked as a substitute teacher and began to feel as passion for education. This passion would turn into a dream to eventually teach in a college or university. |
